C’Mon A My House

The title? I saw a documentary on Rosemary Clooney not long ago.
I saw the house thing at the Anchoress blog and did it for a lark. Here are the results of mine:

Why I love Jesus Meme

Obi’s Sister kindly tagged me with the eight things meme, but since I have recently done it, and I genuinely can’t think of eight things you don’t know about me that I would possibly want every one to know… I had this meme on the back burner to do, instead. AND I going to tag Obi with it 🙂

1. I love that He is the only One who died and rose again and that He Lives now. No other religion has that or can claim that, but better than that what I really love about Jesus in this matter is that He and I can know each other now, today. I can communicate with the one I worship, and He will respond.

2. I love the hope He gives me… that it is a constant wellspring in my life.

3. I love His corrections, He makes me a better person. I love that His presence in my life has been renewing and that life is a fresh adventure because of that. ( although I don’t always remember this at all times…) I love the forgiveness that makes it bearable to deal with all the truth of my needed corrections.

4. I love the sometimes hidden continuity of Christ throughout the scriptures, I love discovering more about Him as He acted throughout time. I love the way I am amazed at His everlasting existence and yet how He is simultaneously fully in time with human history and with me personally.

5. I love that I can now “know God” – without Jesus that was outside any possibility. The chasm was never fully realized by me until it was bridged. Such amazing love begets love in return. This is why I love Him.

Add it all up and I guess you could say I love the immediacy and nowness of Jesus in my life. a present reality that meets all needs answers all questions.
