I absolutely love Julie and what she has to say. Along the way we have doubted the wisdom of “the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world” and “behind every successful man there is a woman”. We lost those because we have joined the rat race of who gets the applause. I think this generations women are looking hard at the choices, the rep, and the claims. We call it Mommy Wars, but it isn’t war, it is down and dirty real searching for what is meaningful and finding where one fits and seeking to contribute.
That’s why the answers aren’t easy and they aren’t one fits all.
