Can You Hear The Poignancy?

Who Knew?: Why I Don’t Quit Blogging

Increasingly, I hear this tone in political bloggers. I think it comes from a genuine distress as it becomes increasingly apparent how reason has left the room – and how the two sides of Conservative and Liberal are at a contraposition with fewer bridges of dialogue.

From my eye it is something which is heating up, and that is why I think there are all these voices that almost plead for some reasonable approach in resolving the disagreements.

I don’t know if I simply read more of the conservative blogs, or if there are truly more on that side who wish to work on the intrasigence growing between the two sides. Or maybe more of whom I read in this tenor are those who favor a moderate path politically.

  1. I don’t know. I’m not inclined to listen to anyone who calls for the other side to settle down and start “making sense” unless they ask some of their own-or those who profess to be-to do the same. Goodness knows that neither side of the political spectrum has a monopoly on the crazies.
