There is something quite beautiful about the struggle of a man to bravely live his life. To face off his fears and go forward.
I guess I have the turn of mind today to appreciate that, I had some pity and some admiration for my husband today, as he -with the same cold symptoms I have had- went off to deal with another business day shouldering the responsibility of his family.
He works hard, he tries hard, and there often doesn’t seem much reward in it for him, but today I appreciate that, and I appreciate this post of a man who touches upon many spiritual issues as he explains…of all things…. his recovery from a cold.
